Digital asset infrastructure company AEREDIUM has introduced two AI products designed to help organizations oversee autonomous agents as they take on tasks involving financial transactions and software development.
AEREDIUM has launched The Chair and MCP Connector, two products that allow organizations to set rules governing what AI agents can do, including writing code, executing payments and trading digital assets.
The products are available through the company's new aeredium.ai platform and use a policy engine that evaluates an agent's proposed actions before they are executed.
The launch comes as AI agents take on increasingly sensitive tasks, raising questions about how organizations can maintain oversight when automated systems interact directly with financial infrastructure and software environments.
Under AEREDIUM's approach, actions are checked against predefined policies and either approved, denied or sent for human review. Each decision is digitally signed and recorded, creating a verifiable history of agent activity.
“AI agents are no longer just answering questions. They're writing code, moving money and making decisions that have real consequences,” said Albert Dadon, CEO and Founder of AEREDIUM. “The challenge isn't just making these agents more capable, but making sure they operate within the rules we set. With The Chair and MCP Connector, we're giving organizations a way to put AI to work without giving up control over what it can do.”
The Chair Brings Human Oversight to AI Coding
The first product, The Chair, targets development teams using AI agents to write and modify software.
It operates between an AI coding agent and an organization's development environment, checking actions such as executing commands, modifying files, merging code and pushing changes against established policies.
Actions that meet those policies can proceed automatically, while requests requiring additional authorization are sent to a control panel for human approval.
Each decision generates a signed record identifying the attempted action, the applicable policy and the person who authorized it.
The Chair currently supports Claude Code through a dedicated plugin and provides a governed shell for other coding agents, including those developed by OpenAI.
Organizations can configure policies through a questionnaire without having to write the rules directly in code. AEREDIUM is offering the product with a 30-day free trial.
MCP Connector Adds Controls for AI Payments and Trading
The second product, MCP Connector, extends the same oversight model to AI agents that handle digital asset transactions.
It combines a policy engine with a digital asset wallet, allowing agents to carry out approved financial operations while operating within limits set by their owners.
Each agent is assigned its own wallet, policy and designated owner, who approves the agent's mandate using a passkey and retains the ability to halt or delete it.
AEREDIUM currently offers two agent roles. Payer agents can transfer USDC, USDT, PYUSD and EURC to approved addresses but cannot execute trades. Trader agents can trade on designated exchanges within their wallets but cannot transfer funds to external recipients.
The wallet infrastructure relies on threshold signatures generated within secure enclaves. According to AEREDIUM, this means a complete private key is never created, and the company does not hold a key to the owner's funds.
MCP Connector supports Ethereum, Arbitrum and Base, with transaction records retained for seven years.
The product is designed for Claude while remaining open to OpenAI and other AI frameworks.
AEREDIUM Expands Beyond Digital Asset Infrastructure
The launch marks an expansion of AEREDIUM's existing digital asset infrastructure business into AI agent governance.
The company has previously developed institutional custody and settlement infrastructure built around threshold-signature technology and policy-based transaction controls.
Both new products apply that existing approach to autonomous AI systems, requiring actions to satisfy established rules before they can proceed.
The distinction between the products lies in their intended use. The Chair focuses on controlling access to development environments, while MCP Connector governs how AI agents interact with digital assets.
Together, they represent AEREDIUM's effort to bring institutional-style controls to AI-driven software development and financial operations.
Both products launched on October 13, 2026, and are available through AEREDIUM's AI platform.
