B2B iGaming Software Gains Momentum as More Jurisdictions Regulate Online Gambling

The global B2B iGaming software market continues to expand as more jurisdictions establish clearer regulatory frameworks for online casinos and sportsbooks. According to Dataintelo’s Global iGaming Platform and Sportsbook Software Market report, the market generated approximately US$8.6 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach around US$9.7 billion in 2026, representing a compound annual growth rate of 12.5%.

While the UK has operated as a mature and established regulated online gambling market for many years, a number of other jurisdictions are only now entering the era of regulated iGaming. In Latin America, Brazil launched its federal licensing framework for fixed-odds betting and online gaming on 1 January 2025, while Chile is still considering new legislation and Argentina continues to operate through a fragmented provincial system. In Africa, Kenya is moving to the gaming legislation implementation in 2026. These markets are at different stages of development, but they share a common trend: the transition from largely informal or fragmented activity towards licensed, supervised online gambling. This creates significant opportunities for B2B technology providers, as newly licensed operators require software with fast engines and compliance tools, as well as payment infrastructure.

“The growth of the global B2B iGaming software market is closely linked to the expansion of regulated online gambling markets. As new jurisdictions introduce licensing regimes and allow private operators to enter the legal market, demand is increasing for certified platforms. Regulation also creates demand for the platforms that must operate within clearly defined rules,” says Rikesh Lowtoo, Director of Product at Gamingtec, an international B2B iGaming software provider.

However, regulation also creates one of the sector’s main operational challenges: requirements differ significantly from one jurisdiction to another. Rules may vary in areas such as player verification, affordability and AML checks, responsible gambling, self-exclusion, payment processing, data retention, advertising and technical reporting. This makes international expansion more complicated for operators, particularly when they need to adapt the same product to several markets while maintaining consistent customer experience and operational control.

For that reason, operators increasingly look for technology that can be configured and adapted rather than simply deployed in one standard form. A modular platform can allow different regulatory, payment, reporting and responsible-gambling components to be activated for different markets without rebuilding the entire system. “Gamingtec has developed its technology with the requirements of different markets in mind. Its modular architecture allows operators to configure the relevant platform components and adapt the product more efficiently to local regulatory, operational and commercial requirements,” says Rikesh Lowtoo.

Why Operators Are Turning to Turnkey Platforms

Entering a regulated market still requires significant preparation, particularly around licensing, compliance, payments, and player management. Building the underlying technology independently adds another layer of development and integration work.

A turnkey platform removes much of this technical workload by providing the core infrastructure as a ready-to-configure system. The operator retains control over its licence, brand, payments, content, customer data, and compliance processes, while the technology provider supplies the underlying platform.

This approach can shorten the path from licensing to launch while giving operators the flexibility to configure the product for their target market. Gamingtec prepares turnkey platforms within a short deployment cycle, allowing operators to move from technology setup to market launch without spending months developing the core infrastructure internally.

“Turnkey is generally better suited to operators that are planning sustainable, long-term growth in a new market. It requires greater ownership of licensing and compliance, but the central advantage of working with a technology provider remains: the operator can launch faster than it could by developing the entire platform independently,” explains Suren Khachatryan, Chief Commercial Officer at Gamingtec. With the core technology already in place, operators can focus their resources on market entry, product configuration, and growth rather than building the platform from scratch.

About Gamingtec's Turnkey Platform

Gamingtec’s turnkey platform brings together the main components required to operate an online gambling business within a single infrastructure. It combines casino and sportsbook products with payments, CRM, analytics and Player Account Management tools, allowing operators to manage key areas of their business through one connected system.

Gamingtec’s casino module provides access to more than 10,000 games, including slots, live dealer tables, table games, crash games and instant-win products. Through integrations with multiple game providers, operators can build a broader and more flexible casino portfolio while adapting their offering to different player preferences and market requirements.

The sportsbook segment supports more than 125 sports and over 210,000 monthly pre-match and live events. Its coverage includes major categories such as football, basketball, tennis and MMA, as well as esports and virtual sports. More than 5,000 virtual sports events are available each day, helping operators maintain betting activity outside traditional live sporting competitions.

Gamingtec's platform includes built-in retention tools designed to increase player engagement and loyalty. Features such as BetBuilder and ComboBoost allow operators to create more personalised betting experiences, while AI-powered recommendations and real-time analytics help identify the most effective promotions, campaigns and engagement strategies for different markets, player segments and game preferences.

As regulated iGaming continues to expand across new jurisdictions, demand for B2B gaming technology is expected to accelerate. Modular turnkey platforms, such as Gamingtec’s, are likely to become a major growth driver for the sector, enabling operators to enter newly regulated markets faster, meet local requirements, and scale their operations efficiently.
