NOXCAT, a Web3 application integrating MPC wallets, social transfers, and on-chain security, has unveiled its on-chain escrow contract mechanism, with a planned launch in late June 2026. The solution is designed to enhance transaction security in the emerging era of AI-driven on-chain execution.
The announcement was made during the “Decoding Web 4.0: When AI Agents Take Over On-Chain Permissions” event, co-hosted by BlockBeats, Dongcha, and Zhihu as part of the 2026 Hong Kong Web3 Festival. The event brought together participants from projects including Cobo, Monad, and Infini, focusing on infrastructure, AI agents, and blockchain security.
Addressing Security Gaps in AI-Driven On-Chain Execution
As AI agents evolve from passive observers into autonomous executors capable of generating and executing strategies, the need for pre-execution risk control is becoming increasingly critical.
Current industry efforts largely prioritize execution efficiency, while preventative security infrastructure—especially in OTC and off-chain transaction scenarios—remains underdeveloped. Traditional trust mechanisms often rely on informal reputation systems, exposing users to counterparty risk.
NOXCAT’s escrow mechanism is designed to address this gap by embedding security directly into transaction flows.
On-Chain Escrow with Dual Confirmation
The mechanism locks funds into a smart contract during a transaction and releases them only after confirmation from both parties. By replacing third-party intermediaries with a “contract-based locking + dual confirmation” model, the system reduces the risk of unilateral default.
The feature is scheduled to launch in late June 2026, marking NOXCAT’s first step toward building a native security layer for AI-driven on-chain interactions.
Expanding Security Beyond On-Chain Transactions
Beyond escrow functionality, NOXCAT is developing additional modules including asset inheritance and protections against Web2-related risks such as social engineering, account compromise, and physical coercion.
The platform aims to deliver a comprehensive security framework spanning both Web2 and Web3 environments, covering transaction execution, asset custody, emergency response, and long-term asset management.
Industry Context: Security as a Core Layer of Web 4.0
As AI agents gain execution capabilities on-chain, security is increasingly viewed as a foundational layer rather than an auxiliary feature.
Preventative infrastructure—capable of identifying and mitigating risks before execution—may become a defining requirement for the next phase of Web3 development.
About NOXCAT
NOXCAT is a Web3 Infrastructure focused on secure and seamless on-chain interactions. By integrating MPC wallet technology, social transfer functionality, and advanced security mechanisms, NOXCAT aims to enhance user experience while strengthening asset protection across both Web2 and Web3 environments.
